This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager within an industrial environment to partner with the Senior Leadership Team in the delivery of strategic HR initiatives, delivering a high-performance engaged culture
Client Details
My client is a Liverpool-based manufacturing group, supplying into a broad range of industries. With a national footprint of depots, they are a leader within their field. They have recently gone through an exciting period of change as they embark on the next phase of their growth, and the HR Manager is one of a number of strategic hires into the business.
Description
This is a standalone HR management role responsible for the entire employee life-cycle of circa 50 employees and all the administration that is required. As a key part of the management team, you will work with the wider management team to build a strong engaged employee culture.
Reporting into the MD, responsibilities will include (but not be limited to);
- Delivery of the people agenda, collaborating with the leadership team on the design and implementation of people plans
- Co-ordination of the monthly payroll, ensuring payroll is accurate and successfully delivered each month
- Coach, influence and support managers and leaders on a range of people activities
- Provide robust employee relations advice and support across all areas relating to employment law and ensure adherence to our policies and practices
- Drive the recruitment strategy and process, particularly at senior level
- Own and drive talent strategy, coaching managers to ensure talent is highlighted and recognised in the business alongside building capabilities and succession plans.
- Review and delivery of a robust Reward framework across all levels within the business
Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience from within a fast-paced industrial or similar environment, ideally in an SME. The ability to influence at senior stakeholder level is essential, and experience within a greenfield HR environment would be beneficial.
Further requirements;
- Proven experience of supporting organisational change and design, driving positive culture and engagement
- Solid and proven experience in the management of employee relations, performance management, reward and recruitment
- Experience in processing payroll at site level e.g. new starters, leave, monthly payroll
Job Offer
A salary of up to £50,000 plus benefitsThere may be a need for adhoc national travel when the need arises
This is a site-based role in Liverpool. Part-time working will be considered.
