Your new role

The Reward Manager will report into the Reward Director for Post Trade and Capital Markets. The role holder will work very closely with the People Business Partnering group to provide reward specialist support in line with business requirements and countries of expertise.

  • Act as the primary resource for reward matters for Post Trade and Capital Markets divisions as well as Western Europe and Africa, in countries where the company has a presence.
  • Manage large datasets and analyse the information to present findings, comparisons, and recommendations in a concise and user-friendly format.
  • Lead on pay benchmarking & market intelligence for the locations and business areas covered - working with external consultant and vendors to provide market data on total compensation.
  • Support in the development and implementation of global pay ranges for regions covered.
  • Produce ad hoc information for Head of HR, HRBPs, Reward and business stakeholders.
  • Utilise external market benchmarking data to provide analytical and complex modelling to support the design of a Reward framework.
  • Support the upkeep of the recent job architecture framework put in place by reviewing job descriptions, levelling roles on an adhoc basis and providing employee analytics for the business.
  • Assist with bonus pool modelling to help drive key decisions around year end activities.
  • Support the delivery of the annual compensation process.
  • Provide day to day reward support, manage ad hoc requests and support of ongoing business needs.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a similar reward role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of compensation practices and trends in Western European Countries.
  • Experience in supporting Group wide compensation programmes, ideally within a global, matrixed and regulated environment.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities with excellent advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • In depth experience in external market data benchmarking and sources including job matching methodologies, pay elements and survey submissions.
  • Extensive experience in data manipulation and modelling of large sets of data with ability to interpret the results to ensure accuracy and validity with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage, build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders to help shape and support the reward strategy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales in the face of competing priorities.
  • Significant stakeholder management experience.
  • Knowledge/Experience of European compensation regulations (including treatment of Material Risk Takers, Remcos etc) is a plus but not essential.
  • Degree or equivalent and / or relevant vocational qualification.
