As a HR Generalist you will be responsible for end to end recruitment processes, producing offers and contracts, induction and probation meetings, performance reviews, coaching and advising managers with grievances and disiplinaries & providing support with people management skills, implementing well-being initiatives & supporting with general office management duties.

Page Personnel have partnered with a well established organisation based in York, who specialise in Business Management Software. They are looking for a HR Generalist to join them on a full time and permanent basis. As a HR Generalist you will be responsible for all key HR areas including end to end recruitment, coaching and advising managers on grievances and disciplinaries, induction and probation reviews, as well as general office management duties.

Description

The successful HR Generalist will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end recruitment processes including producing offer letters and contracts
  • Arranging and conducting interviews and providing feedback Leading inductions and welcome meetings Conducting probation and performance reviews Being the main point of contact for any HR related queries, including absence management, changes to contracts and benefitsAdvising and coaching managers with people management skills, and providing guidance with grievances and disciplinaries Implementing new well-being initiatives General office management responsibilities including inventory & stock levels, and ordering new starter equipment

Profile

The successful HR Generalist will have:

  • Demonstrable experience within a HR Generalist position, with the ability to lead and support line managers and employees
  • Strong knowledge and capabilities within HR policies and procedures
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Confidence to introduce and implement new ideas and employee initiatives
