Our client, a large media company is currently looking for a interim HRBP/HR Project Manager - 6 months contract
About the role
Reporting into the CHRO, and working across the Global teams, you will be responsible for project managing HR related activities during a time of significant transformation.
The role will be responsible to activate the delivery of strategy during a period of significant change, coordinating the Country activities to deliver the overall HR strategy, and work on critical transformation projects.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated Project Management experience from a large global matrix organisation, comfortable partnering with senior level managing directors within the business, be highly data driven and analytical.
Key Outcomes:
- Ensure consistency in the approach across all countries during the standard cyclical activities (i.e. performance management), collaborating with Country HR in providing a seamless and timely execution of plans
- Provide support as and when required to support country strategic plans and operational priorities with regular communication with Country HRBPs to ensure alignment and awareness of priorities and needs
- Enable Leadership teams on navigating the HR processes and leverage the HRIS system at its best (Workday)
- Identify opportunities to eliminate duplicate work or harness similar activities to enable faster deployment within the functions
- Support the HRDs with Change management, Organisational Development and Design initiatives. Focus and time spent in different functions may vary pending on priorities
- Project manage and drive transformation projects, as needed
- Organise and manage the Monthly call with Country HR
- Project manage recruitment activities in functions with higher needs, collaborating with local HR on reducing time to hire and address concerns
- Partners with HRDs on specific initiatives as needed
Key Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related discipline.
- Work experience in an HR PM role in a global organisation, or significant experience within transformation Project Management with an understanding of Human Resources
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively as part of a team in a highly complex, matrix organisation
- A team player who takes ownership beyond his/her functional scope, to shape and define company-wide initiatives
- A hands-on HR practitioner. In this role, you will work on both strategic and operational HR matters.
