Your new company
Hays is pleased to be working exclusively with one of Northern Ireland's leading manufacturing organisations to appoint a Training Coordinator to join their team.
This newly created role within the organisation, is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead the business training program.


Your new role
You will be responsible for developing, initiating and implementing training programs across all sites to ensure the correct standard is maintained in the entire business. While also enabling the workforce to gain, maintain and/or develop the appropriate skillset in their specific roles.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Active mapping of training requirements with production management and assisting with the building of training plans and schedules for all employees.
  • Coordinating with all departments in designing and developing training to ensure consistency of all training across sites.
  • To deliver training workshops and sessions.
  • Develop the business Training and Competency plan to deliver operational requirements in line with the Manufacturing Skills Matrix.
  • Manage all the logistics for the training sessions and support in the delivery of training sessions through necessary materials, facilities, equipment and refreshments.
  • Maintain training attendance, records and materials.
  • Participate in the development of all training documentations including safe systems at work and standard operation procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring, documentation and evaluation of the training activates across sites.
  • To proactively identify, establish and cultivate relationships with key members of staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry legislation.
  • Identify effective ways to communicate and promote both training and compliance.
  • Liaising with external training providers.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven track record, showing the ability to successfully implement training programs. through the full training cycle.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems.
  • Knowledgeable about both traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or production environment would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Planning & project delivery skills.
