A leading and well-known Milton Keynes based company are looking for an experienced Assistant HR Business Partner/ Advisor/ Generalist to join their growing and highly supportive HR team. This is a fantastic time to join this Consultancy company investing heavily in HR change and transformation.

Client Details

This exciting and commercially focused Consultancy company are based in Milton Keynes with great public transport links being right next to the station in state of the rt offices and are in search of a Assistant HR Business Partner on a 12 month contract basis with a view to go permanent after. This role offers 1 day per week working form Milton Keynes with the rest being fully flexible and work form home or in office around your preference. With flexible hours this is a ER focused role offering progressing and ownership of complex casework.


The Assistant HR Business Partner role will have the following duties:

  • Advise and guide on ER matters with no travel required
  • Monitor HR data and trends to manage ER cases effectively and look at preventative action with HR policies and process improvements
  • Case management of people issues ranging from grievance, absence and disciplinaries
  • Supporting the HR operations team with more complex HR queries
  • HR project work


To be considered suitable for this 12 month ftc Assistant HR Business Partner role you will need to have

  • Previous ER experience
  • Good understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Exposure to managing/leading/supporting employee relations cases
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for HR
  • Understanding of employment law
  • Ability to analyse and monitor HR data
  • Great communication skills to partner with a variety of head office stakeholders
