It has c.275,000 members and c.£60bn of assets and pays out over £2.5bn in pension and other benefits every year. The primary service provides fiduciary management services, member services, operational services, and secretariat services.


Your new role

As Reward/HRMI Business Partner you will be vital in ensuring the firm is attracting and retaining the best possible talent. The role operates at the cross-section of Reward and HRMI, with effective reporting and analytics informing Reward decision making. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all data and reporting requirements to support with decision making on People, Compensation and Benefits;
  • Create, provide and produce and maintain high quality, accurate and timely analytical reporting and analysis relating to People, Compensation, Benefits and any other ad hoc requests - being able to add value with analysis and provide commentary to resonate with a varied target audience;
  • Produce data dashboards (desirable);
  • Knowledge of reward governance and compliance in a regulated environment desirable;
  • Experience of compensation, reward/pay structures, total reward, job families, benchmarking, executive compensation, annual pay reviews etc (knowledge of methodology, best practice approaches and application of these etc);
  • Manage and oversee the HR system - insuring the highest level of data quality and integrity;
  • Oversee and approve the monthly payroll process for both UK sites and all associated actions.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Highly analytical and excellent numerical skills;
  • Extensive experience of working with data and numbers - producing, manipulating and presenting data, building and producing reports and models;
  • Experience of working within reward, payroll, compensation and benefits - annual compensation reviews, benchmarking, MI reporting/packs;
  • Ability to produce reports for various business stakeholders;
  • Financial services industry experience desirable;
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulae, VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc).
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;
  • Team player;
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to take complex data and concepts and translate into clear, concise and meaningful content, relevant and appropriate for the target audience;
  • Pragmatic and adaptable;
  • Willingness to learn and improve processes.
