Working as the Global Compensation Manager, you'll be reporting into the Compensation Director and be tasked with looking after compensation matters for two of their employee populations. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract but there will be opportunities for you to become a permanent employee. You'll be part of the global compensation team and have an immediate team of 5 colleagues. You'll oversee the strategy, development and management of their compensation schemes for their consulting and business support teams. This is an analytical position where you will have the support of Compensation Analysts but must not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, working in spreadsheets and manipulating data. You will be offering compensation advice on a variety of roles that will sometimes be obscure and require your creativity and problem-solving skills. With that in mind, you must be happy dealing with some ambiguity in the role and enjoy coming up with solutions to problems. You'll be involved in compensation analytics, advising stakeholder as well as supporting on the BUA cyclical comp activities. Other responsibilities will include job evaluations and benchmarking plus completing salary and bonus reviews. You'll also assist in the development of processes and frameworks. The role will have a strategic focus.
To be considered for this position you must come with at least 5 years compensation experience, ideally from large global businesses that have a matrix structure. You must be happy with a fixed term contract role and it's preferable that you're available on short notice. The role is cash compensation focused but it is preferred that you have some equity pay knowledge to help understand compensation packages of incoming talent. You must be an effective communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills and be happy working in a fast-paced and varied role. You should have worked in a team environment and have strong Excel and data management skills.
The role is offering a competitive package of £90-100k plus a 10% completion bonus. There is some flexibility for the right candidate.
