HR Officer

Hays is pleased to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing organisation, who are seeking to recruit an experienced HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a newly created role for the organisation.

Your new role
As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the entire HR remit on-site. You will report into our Financial Director, as well as liaising closely with our global HR team members.
Key duties will include:

• Management of day-to-day people process onsite
• Employee relations & engagement
• Recruitment & onboarding
• Performance, training & development
• Salary and compensation planning
• Succession Planning
• HR Compliance
• Global Projects & Initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 3 years' generalist HR experience
• CIPD membership, or working towards membership.
• A sound knowledge of NI Employment Law and best practice.
• Working knowledge of HR information systems
• Experience of producing metric reports
• Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, including Trade Unions.
