HR Systems & Data Manager

  • Office Location: Central London
  • Hybrid working: 1 day per week in the office

Oakleaf currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Systems and Data professional to join a highly regarded charity in this newly created role. You will own the HR System, data, and reporting piece for the organisation and will lead on a complete system and data review upon joining. The organisation is going through a period of growth and are looking for this person to drive the organisation towards getting the most out of their HR system and helping the business to make more data driven decisions. The role will report to the Deputy Head of HR.

The HR Systems & Data Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Support key strategic goals or the organisation and develop the culture of evidence-based decision making
  • Lead on a complete system (Cezanne) and data review upon joining the organisation. Assessing where and how improvements and streamlining can be achieved. Proactively work with business leaders to achieve these improvements.
  • Potentially source and lead a new system implementation if required
  • Perform system upgrades, configuration, data cleansing
  • Work with managers and stakeholders across the business to ensure that the system is used to its full potential and data input is accurate
  • Provide training and education to current and new employees on the HR system
  • Line management of the HR Systems Officer
  • Ensure GDPR principles are at the forefront of any work carried out

What the HR System & Data Manager must have:

  • Experience of managing and improving HR systems and data
  • The ability to see the big picture, think strategically about how the system can be improved, and how any changes will affect the organisation
  • Advanced excel skills (Report building, Vlookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Experience using the HR System Cezanne is desirable but not essential
