This is a new opportunity within our People & Culture team, where you will play a critical role in supporting our approach to global mobility and our international employment infrastructure across Cambridge University Press & Assessment.


About the role
You'll be central to establishing and embedding a new global mobility framework that supports career progression and the ambitious growth plans of this global organisation.


As a key interface to the business, you'll work closely with stakeholders across our People & Culture, Tax and Legal teams, providing guidance, and support across the spectrum of international employment and country-specific employee lifecycle processes as we integrate our employing entities across the world.


Developing and utilising management information and people systems data to help inform decision making, and drive change and improvement, will also be an integral part of your role, as will involvement in global integration projects that support the establishment of our global business operating model.


About you
As someone who embraces change, you will be able to achieve results both independently and as part of a team.  Given the need for co-ordination and stakeholder management across different functions of our business, you will demonstrate a truly collaborative approach. You will be approachable, resilient, and proactive, and will be able to demonstrate:
•    strong project management skills, working to strict deadlines,

•    your ability to challenge and influence, while being able to build strong relationships with colleagues
•    an understanding of both strategic and operational context.

Knowledge of the processes and practices within a typical People / HR function is important, as is an understanding and appreciation of the complexities and considerations relating to global mobility.  Experience of working in an international context would be beneficial.
