Compensation Senior Manager

A multinational retailer is hiring for a Compensation Manager to join their London team on a hybrid model (3 days in London office), to act as the subject matter expert on UK & EMEA as part of the wider reward team to focus.

Responsibilities of the Compensation Senior Manager include:

-Provide deep insights in relevant internal and external compensation market data and intelligence for business application

-Develop, coach and guide HRBPs on all areas of Compensation and broader Total Reward concepts

-Lead the job evaluation process for the UK and EMEA commercial and retail jobs, and, present related new/amended jobs

-Provide best practice and regional input to global teams to drive the development of globally applicable processes and tools

-Guide and develop more junior team members in all areas of compensation management

-Participate in other ad hoc assignments as needed

Requirements for the Compensation Senior Manager

  • Proven compensation experience, preferably in retail or media industries
  • Experience in supporting the review and design of total reward programmes, including external analysis, creating business cases and stakeholder management
  • Experience leading key compensation processes, including:
    • Annual compensation review cycle
    • Annual salary survey submission
    • Gender Pay Gap reporting
    • National Living Wage review
    • Bonus and LTI administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills are required along with advanced working knowledge of Excel (incl. pivot tables, databases, formulas), PowerPoint, and Word
