Graduate Talent Acquisition Assistant

 

An excellent opportunity for a professional, highly organised Graduate Talent Acquisition Assistant to join a busy Talent Acquisition team for a global law firm. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and an ability to win the confidence and respect of others. The ideal candidate will be able to work methodically and effectively under pressure while being reliable, enthusiastic, and approachable.

Day to day responsibilities will include -

  • Running the firm's vacation schemes, assessment centres and various open days
  • Assessing and shortlisting online vacation scheme and training contract applications
  • Administer online assessments
  • Coordinating vacation scheme and training contract interviews
  • Being the first point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Partners and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Administrative organisation of the graduate recruitment process
  • Providing feedback to candidates
  • Booking, organising, and attending law fairs
  • Updating and proofreading directory entries
  • Running the firm's work experience programmes
  • Running the Withers social media channels
  • Document management
  • Research tasks
  • Ad-hoc reporting, data collection and analysis
  • Responding to enquiries through the recruitment mailbox
  • Assisting the wider recruitment team with Diversity & Inclusion schemes and initiatives
  • General administration including processing invoices and assisting with budget tracking
  • Assisting with ad hoc project work and events as required

Ideal technical skills and experience -

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Previous experience working in a professional services organisation is ideal but not necessary

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Calm and professional manner, especially when under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail and able to organise effectively, with a sense of urgency

  • Able to work on own initiative and be self sufficient
  • Able to multi-task
  • Can deal with a high volume of work
