Oakleaf currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workday Integration Specialist to join a global media and publishing business who are in the early stages of Workday implementation. The organisation is seeking a Workday Integration Specialist to join and support the Global Head of HRIS, working across 45 countries and 10,000 employees. This person will serve as owner of a variety of integrations, reports and dashboards. You will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, testing and support of Workday Integrations.

The Workday Integration Specialist responsibilities will include:

  • Subject matter expert with all Workday integration technologies.
  • Demonstrate in-depth Workday Core HR, Recruiting, Absence, Talent, Learning, Compensation knowledge.
  • Help with Workday HCM integration work including design, development and testing.
  • Assist with all aspects of data integrations/interfaces with various vendors and other internal systems.
  • Manage and own end-to-end testing with various vendors, Workday-partner, internal system owners.
  • Responsible for developing integrations focused on data quality and integrity, which can scale based on the growing needs of the organization.
  • Extract data using Workday using custom reports, employing calculated fields and transformations.
  • Assist with Workday configuration and Business Process Framework.
  • Translate user requirements into system specifications leveraging the existing IT infrastructure (software engineering and architecture).
  • Drive ongoing enhancements to the Workday platform and stay abreast of new enhancements in each Workday release.
  • Collaborate with the Technical teams including IT to build, test and deploy the integrations, reports, workflows, dashboards and Security.
  • Responsible to maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements with HR and Payroll.
  • Engage with the Workday community to remain informed of system enhancements.

What the Workday Integration Specialist must have:

  • Proven experience of Workday Integration development and maintenance.
  • Broad functional and technical knowledge of HR, Payroll and Finance processes and systems.
  • Advanced analytical skills; ability to lead, develop, conduct, test and document the operation of the HR systems.
  • Strong leadership skills in coaching, motivating and developing highly skilled talent.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills, possessing the ability to motivate team members to perform the tasks
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex HR operations to maintain the credibility of HR systems.
  • Innovative problem solver with excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Self-starter, able to drive work forward within an agile environment.
