Hays are excited to represent a growing, established public sector organisation, who are seeking an HR Advisor (8 month assignment could lead to permanent) to grow their HR team in Northamptonshire.

Your new role
As an HR Advisor, (8 month assignment-could lead to permanent) you will be part of a busy HR team, this is a true generalist HR role and an opportunity, if you are looking to further develop your skills and experience as an HR Advisor.
Duties will include:
Providing HR advise and guidance on sickness absence, performance management, flexible working, maternity, paternity, job evaluation, disciplinaries and grievances.
Coaching managers on HR best practice
Updating HR policies and process.
You will be responsible for the employee life cycle, starters, leavers, offer letters, contracts, checking right to work documents, DBS checks and requesting references.
You must have a full clean driving licence and your own car, you will be required to travel to other sites in Northamptonshire when the need arises.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within the public sector. You will ideally have experience managing ER cases from end-end. You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
