HR Advisor - Human Resources - 14 Month FTC

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Human Resources Advisor to provide maternity cover within a progressive and highly regarded Human Resources team for a nationwide law firm joining an ambitious team who are determined to provide the best possible results for the firm and its people.

You will be led and mentored by the Head of HR Advisory and will have the support of the experienced HR team to develop you and get you fully up to speed in this role. You will be responsible for providing high quality, professional advisory and support service to managers and employees in the Operations department.

Day to day, you'll be successful in this role by:

  • Provide full generalist HR service to the Operations departments based within 7 offices nationally.
  • You will provide commercial and pragmatic advice on performance management, absence management, employee relations, resourcing, talent management and employee development
  • You will work closely in a business partnering capacity with the Heads of various Operations departments to proactively manage any HR issues, and report on management information and trends within the division.
  • Take ownership of the full end to end employee lifecycle, working closely with HR Operations, recruitment, and your client group to champion the employer brand
  • Contribute to a variety of exciting HR projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrating expertise, understanding and compliance with the team's HR processes and standard operating procedures
  • Comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

  • Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or have studied an HR or business-focused university degree or equivalent.
