Remote with international travel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Global Compliance and Technical Training Manager within a fantastic, global technology business. Based in London reporting to the Director, Global Talent & Culture, this role provides scope for the post holder to own all necessary technical and operational training, globally.

You will be responsible for:

      • Act as an SME and in partnership with internal customers in the development of virtual, face to face, or digital training.
      • Ensure training offer is delivered in the most up to date and effective way
      • Work with internal digital training developers to create efficient and effective learning content.
      • Liaise with our operations, safety and construction teams to co-ordinate global training initiatives.
      • Maintain the global training matrix for mandatory and non-mandatory training.
      • Prepare reports for digital training as required for audits
      • Ensure training content reflects current VCUK policies and procedures
      • Ensure training content is relevant and appropriate to the business and target audience.
      • Manage the annual content maintenance process
      • Maintain and update content as required and directed by functional partners.
      • Willing to deliver non-technical training as and when required.
      • Deliver vehicle technical training
      • Develop the Technical & Product Trainers' potential through objective setting, coaching, mentoring and guidance
      • and maintain strong relationships with the Technical and Product Trainers
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
      • Build trust across the organisation through building collaborative relationships
      • Identify shortfalls within the operations, safety and construction teams around training resources and make recommendations to resolve any gaps
      • Continuously monitor and review the technical and operational training strategy
      • Identify shortfalls in the existing training programs and make recommendations on how best to bridge gaps

What it means for you:

The ideal candidate will hold previous experience in instructional design ideally in a Technical, Construction or Data centre organisation.

Proven experience in scripting and creating storyboards for eLearning and working with Subject Matter Experts to define training curriculums.
