Our client, B2B information-services business is currently looking for a part-time HRBP, 3 days a week on a 12 months FTC.

This role is a critical partner to the Group Event Operations business leaders, managers and employees, helping us align to the business goals/objectives, while ensuring successful career growth for our employees. The HR partner will be primary point of contact responsible for HR related activities for approximately 50 people across the UK, US and Asia.

Group Event Operations is a newly created function so partnering with leaders through change and transition will be essential to success in the role. A primary responsibility is to ensure that we attract, develop and retain top talent at all levels to support divisional objectives.

The HR Business Partner will focus on full employee lifecycle including on-boarding, team building, career development, performance management, employee relations and employee recognition. The HR Business Partner will provide day-to-day guidance to the senior leadership team and line managers in areas such as coaching, career development, org design, management development and disciplinary actions.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with employees at all levels
  • Act as a trusted thought partner for the business on internal policies, career guidance and performance management
  • Partnering with managers through organisational change
  • Partner with the Group Event Operations senior leadership team and line managers to develop strategies to retain and engage their teams
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues including, conducting investigations, maintain accurate and complete documentation of employee counselling/investigations
  • Partner with senior managers and line managers to successfully onboard new hires
  • Develop and execute critical HR initiatives and projects for the Group Event Operations Division
  • Analyses and presents trends and metrics to develop solutions, programmes and policies
  • Partner with Global HR team regarding company-wide HR initiatives
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

Experience Required:

  • Experience of working as an HR Business Partner in a service led, B2C or B2B organisation such as Events, Hospitality or Professional Services
  • Experience in a global environment, working with a dispersed client group
  • Experience of delivery of people change programmes
  • Experience of implementing new ways of working within a business area
  • Experience of working with matrixed central functions (e.g., Rewards, Operations)
  • Experience in coaching leaders and managers (both new inexperienced managers and seasoned senior leaders)
  • Excellent networking and stakeholder engagement skills
