HR Advisor, Up to £35,000 Per Annum, Liverpool (Hybrid Working)

Macmillan Davies are working on behalf of a leading global law firm who are looking to attract a HR Advisor to join their growing HR team in central Liverpool. This role will be part of the HR operations team and will function to support on all ER matters to all ongoing HR projects.

About the role

Reporting to the HR Director your role will see you:

* Giving fully comprehensive HR advice to both Managers and employees across the business
* Reviewing HR processes and making recommendations for changes
* Helping HR Administrators to ensure all general HR administration is up to date
* Dealing with all absence management as required
* Supporting HR Assistants with the management of the leave process
* Dealing with both formal and informal people issues
* Working alongside Managers to deal with any performance management issues
* Performing meetings in order to deal with all grievances and disciplinaries
* Dealing with all workplace health and safety matters
* Supporting both Managers and employees on HR processes as required
* Performing duty of care and return to work meetings
* Production of ad-hoc reports and spread sheets
* Any ad hoc HR duties as required

About you

We are looking for a highly experienced HR Advisor who is able to give HR advice on a variety of HR matters and able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience of working within a legal firm or the professional services is preferred but not essential
* Impeccable knowledge of employment law.
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines as required
* Natural Team Player
* Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent as a minimum requirement with Level 7 being preferred)
