As a HR Advisor you will provide support and guidance to managers on varied ER caseloads, and support the HR Manager in the implementation & development of HR policies and procedures. You will manage end to end recruitment processes, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for any employee changes including liaising with payroll and other relevant departments.

Page Personnel are working with a reputable organisation based in Rotherham, on an exciting new role. Our client are looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a full time, and permanent basis. The role will be based on site Monday to Friday, and will be paying up to £32,000.

Description

The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing HR support and advice to employees and managers & escalating matters where required
  • Manage end to end recruitment processes, including conducting pre employment checks and employment references, and producing offer and contract letters
  • Administer the performance management and probationary review system
  • Minute take in Union meetings, and provide meeting minutes to all attendees after approval
  • Review long and short term absences and liaise with appropriate departments including payroll & occupational health

Profile

The successful HR Advisor will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar HR Advisory role, ideally within a manufacturing organisation
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
  • Working towards or fully CIPD qualified at L5
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels
