HR Business Partner - 12 Month FTC, Public Sector, circa £41k - £44k + excellent benefits


Your new company
Your new organisation is a compassionate, professional, and positive organisation in Kings Lynn. They are drive by a clear vision, mission, and values and are looking for a HR Business Partner to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support their HR function.

Your new role

The main responsibility of your role is to be the HR Lead, providing HR business support and professional advice across the organisation. You will be required to work closely with directors and managers to support the delivery and identification of business plans and service developments within the organisation's strategy.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Line managing the Assistant HRBP
  • To assist and support managers through all stages of HR procedures, including participating in investigations, advising on HR procedures on panels at hearings and appeal hearings, advising chairs of panels as appropriate
  • To support line managers to establish effective methods of workforce performance monitoring and management responsibilities under both employment law and the organisations HR procedures
  • To ensure the provision of specialised advice and support on both the people aspects and the employment law aspects of any changes to minimise the risks to the short- and long-term operational goals
  • Support end to end recruitment and employee retention
  • To undertake ad hoc projects in conjunction with other members of the HR Team

This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week, offering flexible working arrangements.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will need to be CIPD qualified and evidence continuous personal growth. You will ideally have professional in an HR role within the NHS and extensive experience of complex case management. You'll have experience of managing HR staff and HR casework, and also be able to demonstrate knowledge of HR professional issues including national and local policy and legislative developments.
