Assistant Finance Manager/ Nottingham/ Fixed Term Contract/ Hybrid working / up to 40k

Ashley Kate Finance are delighted to be supporting a large local business, as they look to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Reporting to the Finance manager, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts, budgets, support and managing a Finance Assistant providing support where necessary.

Key responsibilities for the Assistant Finance Manager:
·Month end process.
·Monthly and cash flow forecasting.
·VAT & KPI reporting.
·Managing the Finance Assistant.
·Maintaining and developing the new accounting system.
We are looking for:
·Qualified or part qualified CIMA or ACCA. Qualified by experience will also be considered.
·Strong hands on experience with month end processes.
·Strong interpersonal skills dealing with all stakeholders across the business.
·Experience with MS Dynamics.
·Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established local business, to start before Christmas for handover from current Assistant Finance Manager.
