The  Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) are looking to hire a dynamic Chief People Officer to work with this growing and influential government agency. There has never been a more exciting or challenging time to join the MHRA as they work towards a post-covid and post-Brexit future. The past few years have presented significant challenges for everyone and it has meant that the MHRA's role as the regulator of medicines and medical devices across the UK has never been more important.

The MHRA are looking for a Chief People Officer who will lead on helping the MHRA achieve its aspiration of being recognised as a great place to work, enabling everyone to have the opportunity to build and grow their careers within an organisation that seeks to build on its international reputation and be a leading global regulator. The CPO will be a member of the Corporate Group and fully responsible for the HR and People Function.

This is a role for someone who really wants to shape the future of this changing organisation, including its culture, values and skills and making talent management for the cadre of medical and scientific specialists and generalists a key strength for the MHRA. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record track record of delivering wide ranging, organisational and cultural change, gained in complex organisations of scale, with strong leadership and strategy setting skills.
