Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global healthcare provider in their search for a Head of Talent and Performance Management. This role will be based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.


In this newly created role, our client is looking for a Head of Talent & Performance Management to shape the future of Talent Management and Performance for the business across UK. The successful hire will join the wider Talent (Acquisition) team, and will help create a workplace where every colleague feels they can perform at their best and reach their potential.

In partnership with the business and the HR team, you will be responsible for developing the way our client manages the talent and performance of employees; moving the culture from process to practice. You will partner with the business to ensure our talent and performance management approach retains the talent we need to deliver the overall business strategy.

The role:


* In partnership with key stake holders, design, develop and embed a Talent and Performance management strategy
* Lead the development and deployment of approach to ongoing talent management that involves senior business leaders, HODs & HR
* Develop and utilise the Workday Talent and Performance system to build data and analytics, enabling business decisions to be made from emerging trends
* Implement a division wide risk succession planning programme to maintain strong and diverse talent pipelines for critical roles
* Support CHROs to establish a high-performance culture and to identify and assess key talent requirements for their business areas
* Partner OD team to develop and pilot learning interventions to ensure CHRO's & HRBP's consistently evaluate, calibrate and define readiness for progression
* Use the data from talent reviews to feed into the Organisational Development team, enabling them to develop future focused programmes for experienced and emerging Talent in order to accelerate the development of critical capabilities and improve diversity of talent pipelines
* In partnership with SMEs develop career pathways that define critical skills, knowledge and capabilities that can be used to help colleagues understand what is expected of them as they look to develop their career
* Partner with US Talent team to provide data and share best practice

The Person:


* Demonstrable experience of Performance and Talent management
* Ability to manage change from process driven to practice through connected leadership
* Understanding of talent frameworks and how they are used to assess, manage, and develop colleagues
* Proactive, self-directed leader with experience of designing and implementing new tools and processes and ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for an executive audience
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and independently
* Strong programme management and planning skills
* Ability and resilience to work with high degree of ambiguity and with manage competing priorities.
* Outstanding relationship builder with experience of working in a matrix environment
* Communicate clearly and empathetically with range of stakeholders
* Certifications in various talent programs and assessment tools such as 360-degree assessments, personality assessments, and development centres
