HR Advisor x 2

2 x HR Advisors to join a busy and proactive HR and Employer relations team, Hybrid / Home remote / Dorset


We are actively seeking 2 experienced HR Advisors to work as part of a HR & Employer Relations team providing a comprehensive advisory service to managers for a large complex public organisation.

You will be working as part of a team and reporting to a Senior HR Advisor handling and managing your own ER case work/employer relations cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and deliver employee relations casework
• Provide professional advice on all aspects of employee relations including absence management, grievance, disciplinary and performance management, escalating casework where appropriate
• Work closely with other HR colleagues and across services to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with Trade Unions to resolve individual cases and effective consultation on people related solutions
• Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation
• Coach, train and develop managers in good practice employee relations knowledge & skills

Specific Qualifications and Experience

• Part qualified CIPD
• Experience of employee relations in a unionised environment preferred
• Previous experience of working within a Human Resources environment
• Demonstrate CPD and up-to-date knowledge of changes to case law, legislation and best practice
  

These 2 roles will be offered on a initial interim contract basis via Hays on weekly time sheets but it is expected for the contract to run until March 2024.

Remote Working / Hybrid with some visits to the HQ in central Bournemouth (first week may be full time on site for orientation/onboarding)
