Learning and Development Manager, £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum, Sheffield

Macmillan Davies are working on behalf of a leading national legal firm who are looking to attract a Learning and Development Manager to join their growing HR team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development you will be involved in:

- Providing strategic advice and overseeing the promotion, management and delivery of L&D curriculum
- Partnering with HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to ensure L&D needs are met across the business.
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with all key stakeholders
- Observing, reviewing and appraising the content & training delivery by external consultants
- Designing and facilitating training courses & talent programmes
- Supporting the design, implementation & management apprenticeship programmes
- Supporting the management of the firm's coaching panel
- Leading with the design of learning across a range of areas within the business
- Ensuring the effective delivery of engaging and up skilling courses, and workshops to meet all individual, business, and brand targets


About you:

We are looking for a forward thinking and energetic L and D Professional to slot in with this dynamic team who has:

* Ideally 5 year's experience as an L & D professional
* Ability to seize the opportunity and make an immediate impact on the business where possible
* CIPD qualified in Training & Development level 5 or 7
* Experience governing training budgets
* Exceptional presentation and communication skills
* Creative, enthusiastic and innovative thinker
* Customer focused and possessing an astute business acumen
* Solid background in managing online training platforms
