L&D Business Partner

Oakleaf Partnership are working with a Salford-based business who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced L&D Business Partner on a permanent basis. The role will become an integral part of the People & Culture team, establish the L&D function across the business and support with strategic initiatives such as succession planning, career development and engagement. Salary is c£50k.

Key responsibilities for the L&D Business Partner include:

• managing and supporting on HR projects and initiatives
• coaching, guiding and advising line managers
• stakeholder management and engagement
• developing and delivering effective talent management initiatives including succession planning to develop talent and drive retention
• embedding a culture of learning and development
• ensuring mandatory training is undertaken and development training is encouraged
• driving engagement initiatives across the business
• collaborating on the reward strategy
• capturing data for monthly reporting
• identifying, initiating and implementing improvements in processes and systems

The successful candidate will have/be:

• previous experience at Business Partner level
• strong knowledge within Learning & Development
• proven experience in talent management and development
• excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels
• computer literate with MS Office and HRIS and LMS
• used to working on multiple initiatives and able to make decisions
