A driven Employee Engagement and Recruitment Officer to join an established SME Manufacturing Business.

My client is an established manufacturing company who strive to be the leader in their field, providing clients with high-quality, bespoke solutions.

Your new role

Reporting to a supportive HR and Talent Manager, this is an interesting, varied role as an Employee Engagement and Recruitment Officer.

You will take responsibility for the internal communications as well as employee engagement. This covers all areas across the business, including current employees; those on-boarding and those who haven't joined the company yet. You will also be the main point of contact for communication for the business, so employees have a point of communication. The role will take responsibility for end-to-end recruitment, which includes attraction (creating adverts), selection and on-boarding following and supporting stakeholders to get the right people, at the right time. You will be expected to plan company events and attend.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and delivery of internal / external communication content to be shared across internal / external channels including social media
  • Lead on employee news, liaising and working closely with IT so it engages the team
  • Lead on employee engagement survey, making sure improvements are known, understood, and acted upon
  • Create thoughtful and creative recruitment/employee engagement campaigns and track for success
  • Act as lead for recruiting teams and report on successful hires and find solutions for those roles which are a challenge to recruit for
  • Design employee promotion policies / processes which support employee engagement
  • Calculate employee engagement metrics; retention and turnover rates and upload onto the power BI app and report these to HR and Talent Manager i.e., time to hire, cost per hire and click through rates
  • Perform benchmark analyses of employee compensation and benefits
  • Take ownership for end-to-end recruitment process, including attraction, engagement, selection, on-boarding, and succession planning

This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Chandlers Ford Office.
