The role of the HR Administrator is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team. They will be responsible for a broad range of administration tasks for all employees.

Page Personnel are representing an Engineering organisation based in Birmingham.

Description

The key responsibilities of the HR Administrator are;

  • Processing new starters: Drafting contracts of employment and entering on internal HR system
  • Pre Boarding requirements; ensuring all new starters are set up with IT, Fleet, Medical etc
  • Completing right to work, reference and compliance checks in line with UK employment law
  • Ensuring compliance for sponsored workers
  • Actioning any changes to terms and conditions
  • Ensuring all employees have in date medicals
  • Liaising with the HR and Training team to ensure a smooth transition into employment on the project
  • Supporting the HR advisors by drafting letters, booking meeting rooms and keeping records up to date
  • Assisting the recruitment advisor with recruitment and resourcing

Profile

The successful HR Administrator will have;

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to help ensure the delivery of a fast paced HR team
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to prioritise work and activities
  • Previous experience in a HR Administration role is desired
  • Process driven

Job Offer

The HR Administrator will be offered;

  • Salary £24,000 - £26,000 DOE
  • Immediate start
  • Paid weekly
  • Temporary to permanent
  • Initially 3 month contract
  • Free parking
  • Hybrid working
