L&D Manager

Ashley Kate HR & Finance are partnering with a high growth business in Milton Keybes on a brand new L&D Manager  position.  Operating  a hybrid approach with 2 days on site  and reporting to the HR Director this person will be responsible for developing a full Learning & Development function for the business so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a PE backed business with huge growth plans.

You will need to have a proven background in L&D and be comfortable with enhancing performance through a variety of methods and techniques to enhance skills and knowledge/

L&D Manager - About the role.
To manage all training needs and opportunities across the business.  Ensuring all employees receive the appropriate training and are competent to carry out their duties.
Designing and delivering Learning & Development across the business.
Pro-active and methodical approach to course planning (venue, lunches, equipment etc.)
Open course calendar management: ensuring timetable is preplanned and kept up to date in line with departmental budget.
Planning, organising and delivering the training and induction/on boarding at all levels, through the development and implementation of on boarding framework. Ensuring that new joiner learning is completed, and the individual has a phased transition into the role.
Scheduling and delivery of training by internal Product Experts.  
Produce and maintain skills assessments for all roles within the operation, identify the gaps and implement development solutions to bridge skills gaps
To Use technology (e learning) to maximise training opportunities.
To identify training needs and where required develop and deliver training to delegates.To support the performance review process and management development program and report on the progress of employee's development.
To develop manage and maintain a HR system including personal records training management and attendance functionality.
To support the set up delivery and agreed outcomes of an Annual Appraisal System.  
To Develop internal training courses.

L&D Manager - About You.

• Ideally you will have worked within a fast paced environment such as manufacturing Engineering or FMCG.
• You must have a proven background across Learning & Development initiatives and be comfortable with the full TNA, Design and Delivery side.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• The ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
