Our Education client based on Leicester are currently looking for a HR Assistant on a temporary interim basis to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
As a HR Assistant you will be supporting the HR manager and wider HR team with a range of duties including:
- To be responsible for the daily recording of staff absence and the associated processes through the absence management policy
- Admin & related compliance support for any recruitment & on-boarding
- ER casework
- Handling general HR queries from staff
- Maintenance of personnel files
- Maintenance of HR system
This is a full time position Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30 and is based full time on site at their Leicester centre setting. This is an on-going temporary position and you will need to be able to start immediately.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role our client are looking for experienced HR Generalists who have experience in absence management, HR Systems, recruitment & on-boarding and employee relations. A CIPD Level 3, equivalent or higher is also desired along with a strong understanding of employment law. Any prior experience within the Education sector is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will be confident in using all Microsoft office including Excel and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
