Successful, growing and dynamic online fashion retailer based in Manchester are seeking to appoint a HR Manager to lead and develop the People function supporting business growth


Your new role
Reporting into the FD you'll be responsible for managing and developing the HR function and manage team of 2. You'll work closely with the business owners to collaborate and support the business development and growth, ensuring a consistent and compliant people services delivery. This a hands on operational role with initial focus on process review and improvement, with a proactive approach to developing processes, managing risk and people development. Duties will include:

• Design and Delivery of training and upskilling for line managers
• Develop and Improve HR processes focused on employee experience
• Develop HR data for focused insights & improvements
• Implement HR Frameworks and Audits for proactive compliance improved risk management
• Provide effective HR advisory service to the business
• Manage and Develop 2 Direct Reports
• Lead and develop HR projects

  • Recruitment and resourcing
  • L&D
  • Engagement & Wellbeing

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven Experience in an SME, fast-paced HR generalist, operational role
• Ability to perform and deliver in an entrepreneurial environment
• Strong ER and employment law knowledge
• Be proactive and highly organised
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail
• Confident Data and System Capabilities
• Understanding of payroll
• Ability to develop relationships with and influence stakeholders
• Proven, proactive leadership skills
