Full time 3-6 month contract HR Manager within education setting in Plymouth. £40- £45k

Working for an education establishment based near the centre of Plymouth.
The role is full time and is all year round not just term time.
Pay is between £19.23ph to £21.63ph equal to £40k- £45k per year.
There is a possibility for the role to become permanent if both parties agree.
Your new role
The HR Manager will be involved in the development and delivery of all aspects of Human Resources management, including HR strategy and process management, HR policy compliance, recruitment, and employee support. The goal is to provide excellent HR support to all staff and to support the Head and the Bursar in strategic people decisions and development.
The client requires an experienced HR professional with proficiency both as an HR generalist and in recruitment. The HR Manager will work both strategically and operationally, have enthusiasm, tact and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience developing recruitment and retention strategies and succession planning processes
Experience on presenting on HR matters, take forward the wellbeing agenda and update staff on changing trends, new legislation and new initiative
Experience with taking the lead with development and implementation of HR initiatives, projects, systems and programmes
Experience with developing policies and practices to enhance the companies employments offers.
