Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a leading, manufacturing business on their search for an Interim HR Advisor for their site in Derby reporting on a day to day basis to the General Manager and a dotted line to the Head of HR you will be an integral part of the wider HR function but the lead for their site at Derby for the interim. You must be an experienced HR Generalist and comfortable with operating in a standalone role so covering the full employee life cycle along with transactional duties.

Based in Derby
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7/8am - 4/5pm and Friday 7am - 12pm
If you're a HR Professional looking for a stepping stone role, an opportunity to gain further experience in a HR Advisory role and the opportunity to work standalone.
Role responsibilities:
·Maintain legal compliance and promote equality and fairness in the application of HR policies and procedures.
·Advise Line Managers in managing dispute resolution, grievances, disciplinaries and dismissals.
·Advise Line Managers on best practice in people management and enacting HR policies and procedures including recruitment and selection, performance management, and absence management.
·Promote opportunities to enhance employee engagement, ensuring HR process adherence.
·Support an embedded recruitment processes to optimise sourcing and selection of talent, whilst seeking opportunities to reduce recruitment costs and developing talent pools to meet future workforce planning requirements.
·Provide an excellent onboarding experience for new starters, ensuring appropriate inductions are delivered in full.
·Ensure all administrative HR activities are completed diligently, aiming for 100% accuracy and on-time delivery, in line with processes.
·Coordinate and support the Apprenticeship Scheme.
·Manage changes to terms and conditions diligently including flexible working, change to roles, and changes to remuneration.
·Effectively support the Derby site meet audit requirements relating to HR.
·Coordinate training and development on-site.
·Support the VP Human Resources tactically with functional projects, as part of the People Strategy to build a high-performance culture.
