Job Details

As the HR Manager for the be responsible for delivering an efficient, pro-active and professional HR service to the group.

Client Details

The client is a group of not for profit organisations across various locations such as Guildford, London and Fareham.


As the HR Manager based in Guildford you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting line management on people leadership matters + employee relationship matters
  • You will partner with the senior team to bring uniformity and build a cohesive working culture
  • Uphold the companies mission statement
  • Take a lead in ER issues such as performance management; sickness + absence; disciplinaries and grievance issues
  • use knowledge of policies to provide support and advice to stakeholders
  • Work with Recruitment Advisor to lead omboarding and exit practices
  • Co-ordinate monthly payroll processes
  • Ensure records kept are up to date
  • Review annual appraisals, training plans and ensure mandatory training is received inline with job role


The successful candidate for the HR Manager position will have:

  • Previous HR experience (generalist/advisor)
  • Be passionate + have a creative approach towards culture, employee development and engagement
  • Demanding role so must be organised
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • An understanding of law firm operations and compliance framework (favourable)

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate for the HR Manager position is:

  • Full time, permanent position Monday - Friday
  • Annual salary up to £37,000
  • Flexible working
  • Can be based in Guildford/London
  • Travel expensed to London (1 day a week)
