HR Advisor

Frazer Jones is partnering with a Somerset-based manufacturing company to help them recruit an HR Advisor. You will be part of an incredibly successful HR team, who strive for excellence in all they do. The company has been through a period of significant growth and change, so they are looking for someone to make an immediate impact and to build on the collaborative culture.

HR Advisor, Somerset
Salary: £35K +
5 days per week on site
8:30am - 5:30pm

As the HR Advisor, you will report into the Head of HR and will be tasked with improving the HR function from an operational standpoint. You will be the first point of contact for all advice and guidance as well as handling all the typical generalist activities including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, updating of policies and procedures as well as supporting on HR projects. More specifically, you will be responsible for creating monthly reports, assisting line managers with all absence and performance related cases as well as coaching and metoring managers.
Combined with this, good knowledge and experience around UK employment law is essential to meet the requirements of this role.

To be successful in this role you will be a self-motivated HR generalist who can work well both independently and as part of a team. You will be skilled in dealing with high volumes of Employee Relations and be confident in managing and running your own case load with minimal supervision. Additionally, the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure within a fast-paced environment is essential. Your adaptable personality, ability to work autonomously and experience within a blue-collar environment will be of great interest to my client.
