An exciting opportunity has arisen in York for a large higher education provider, who are looking for a HR Service Desk Manager to join a fast paced HR team. This role is essential to the HR department who are a core element of the organisation!

Client Details

Our client is a large higher education provider based in York. They offer excellent benefits packages, as well as personal and career development.


The HR Service Desk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all HR OD operations, from establishing new processes and procedures in order to streamline the workflow and ensure efficiency in every element. You will be managing a team of HR Assistants, where accuracy and pace is key- as well as delivering training and advisory pieces regarding new processes and relationship building.


Candidates wishing to apply should have:

  • CIPD Level 5 or above/ equivalent and relevant qualifications
  • Experience of managing a service desk/shared services team
  • Knowledge of HR procedures and policies and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Offer

On Offer:

£36,000- £40,000 per annum + 30 days annual leave + hybrid and agile working + Local Government Pension Scheme + excellent training programmes + would consider PT (4 days per week) + closure during the Christmas period + onsite parking
