The Role
As a HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all of our HR related activities.
Providing a range of guidance to colleagues, you’ll support them to understand and implement HR procedures and advise and assist with all employee relations issues, ensuring best practice is followed and employment legislation adhered to.
You’ll manage recruitment processes alongside line managers, including producing job descriptions and adverts, checking applications, shortlisting, interviewing and hiring. Ensuring that our employment policies are effectively updated and implemented, you will make sure we adhere to current legislation and best practice.
Additionally, you will:
- Maintain and update policy documentation and records
- Manage the attendance management system
- Oversee the extraction of payroll information and administer the payroll
- Oversee the implementation of the company appraisal scheme
- Manage and deliver employee benefit programmes
- Organise company events and functions
About You
To be considered as a HR Manager, you will need:
- At least three years' experience in a HR environment
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- IT proficiency
