As the Early Careers and L&D Advisor, you will support the implementation of the Early Careers strategy and ensure our employee experience and values are lived by all early careers team members.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Early Careers and L&D Advisor in Staines will be:

Data Analysis, Reporting and Administration

  • Produce monthly report analysing data from Early Careers programme and make recommendations on improvements\efficiencies-based data to Line manager
  • Processing new learners and leavers on to Success Factors and Digital Apprenticeship Service accurately.
  • Ensure accurate filing systems are in place for all programmes, GDPR is always followed, and paperwork meets auditing requirements
  • Ensure expenditure is in line with the Early Careers Budget
  • Monitor and provide reports on the apprenticeship levy pot and assist in maximising opportunities
  • Point of contact for external apprentice providers, managing end to end process and relationship.
  • Ensure Managers, Mentors, HR teams & Site leaders are fully prepared to receive Early Careers team members and are clear on their expectations ahead of time
  • Ensure Early Careers team members understand their programme of 70 20 10 learning and reviews / support processes
  • Support the full onboarding experience with Early Careers team members & stakeholders and make recommendations to improve
  • Provide a point of contact for L&D team to support the smooth execution of L&D activities and programmes.
  • Engage regularly with L&D to understand the scheduling of development activities.
  • Work within other Early Careers team members in sister companies
  • Well Being - Coordinating & completing pastoral reviews for all early careers employees across the business & following up on actions
  • Recording & filing of any paperwork received
  • Be the point of contact for safeguarding queries and escalating any issues/concerns in a timely manner

Legal Compliance

  • Maintaining a database of early careers providers & ensuring paperwork is signed and reviewed
  • To search for & review new providers as required, ensuring all documentation is correct and reviewed by legal.
  • Co-ordinate activities such as apprentice registration, certification activity, management of learner files and completion activities.
  • Co-ordinate and manage activities with internal stakeholders on key focal areas for apprentices at site.
  • Support the requirements of internal / external quality monitoring and compliance standards.
  • Communication - work with the Talent Acquisition (TA) Co-ordinator to deliver on social media campaigns, generating posts and responding to queries.
  • Ensuring company website is up to date with relevant information regarding Early Careers and continually improve to ensure information is presented to attract a current audience - keeping abreast of what our competitors are doing to ensure we are ahead of the trends.

Attraction of Early Careers Team Members

  • Contribute to attraction campaigns and manage execution
  • Plan for and attend relevant Careers fairs & events in conjunction with TA
  • Lead set up and execution of assessment centre end to end process & contribute to the selection process
  • Coordination of onboarding and induction process
  • Coordination of internal and external celebration events.
  • Key projects, programme innovation and quality improvements actions.
  • Undertake other specific projects as directed by your line manager.

Profile

The successful Early Careers and L&D Advisor in Staines will have:

* Previous experience in a coordination position
* Prior knowledge/ experience with Early Careers
* Ideally prior knowledge or experience with L&D
* Passionate about Early Careers programmes
* Strong computing skills, including significant experience working with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
* Ability to contribute to shaping EC provision
* Previous experience in a coordination role supporting a team with competing demands with the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision on your own initiative.
* Experience in dealing and managing customer relationships over the phone and in person
* Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to work high standard of data accuracy
* Positive attitude to work excellent attention to detail.
* Flexible attitude to working hours
* Ability to be self-motivated and meet exacting deadlines.
* Developed/proven communication skills.
* Ability to live and demonstrate our values

Job Offer

  • Hybrid - 3 days in office/ 2 from home
  • 25 days holiday +BH
