Oakleaf Partnership are working with a Not-for-Profit organisation in Sale, Manchester who are seeking a Recruitment Manager to join and support the team for a period of 9 months minimum to cover maternity. The role will involve the management of a large team of recruiting advisors and support and manage the people ops and strategy for all recruitment plans for 2023. The role is based in their Manchester office and offers hybrid working.
What is the role?
As a Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 8 Recruitment Advisors and their direct reports. You will work with senior stakeholders and the wider HR team to improve areas like stakeholder management, recruitment processes, candidate experience, and talent attraction whilst driving campaigns and developing the team's ways of working. This role is very busy with the company having lots of plans for the coming year. Our client are a risk-averse business that are partly public funded. The role will therefore require someone with sound knowledge of changing employment legislation.
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of employment legislation and be used to working in companies that are very risk-averse. You will have previous people management experience, be resilient in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will ideally be from an in-house or RPO recruitment background.
