I am delighted to be working with a highly reputable employer in Bath who are looking to expand their HR team and recruit an HR Business Partner on a fixed term contract for 18 months. This is a newly created role within the organisation and will support specific client groups with a headcount of circa 300 people, as well as managing an HR Administrator.
This is a great role for a HR generalist who enjoys business partnering and delivery strategic objectives in align with the overall business goals.

Salary is up to £39'500 + excellent benefits, hybrid and flexible working is offered.

Main duties will include:

  • To provide a full consultative and advisory service to managers and staff within your client groups; coaching and advising on a range of employment issues, including restructuring, managing change and creating organisational efficiencies.
  • Advise managers on HR policy and processes and all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Review and draft HR policies and procedures as required.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business partners.
  • Operating within management teams to progress plans/ideas and advise on a range of issues, or identify organisational requirements,
  • Provide an excellent recruitment service to your areas, always looking for creative and cost effective solutions.
  • To lead, manage and coordinate HR project work

To be successful in this role you will need to be degree educated with a CIPD qualification along with significant HR experience ideally within a business partnering role. You will demonstrate your ability to build effective relationships with your client groups as well as have proven success of operating as a true generalist whilst managing an HR Administrator.

You will have up to date employment law knowledge along with the ability to deal with complex HR issues. This role will suit someone who is confident and diligent and who enjoys being a trusted partner to their client groups. You will have excellent communication skills along with the ability to influence and challenge constructively when needed. You will be competent in HR reporting, working with management data to identify trends and highlight concerns.
