My client is a successful specialist services business based in North Yorkshire and due to recent changes and an investment in L&D, is looking to recruit an experienced L&D Manager on a permanent basis to help shape and deliver the learning strategy.

Your new role
Working alongside the Head of L&D and overseeing an L&D Advisor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering operational, behavioural, management and leadership development training for all levels across the group. Employing a blended learning approach, mixing face to face and virtual training to provide an exceptional learning experience to the business. You will pay a vital role in transforming and modernising the L&D function and providing an inspiring and exciting learning platform.
This role will work closely with the HR managers and business leaders to understand the learning and talent development needs and as a result, deliver joint solutions to their specific businesses. A key initial focus for the role will be creating a new onboarding experience to attract and retain the most talented people as well as developing the customer service training for the contact centre teams.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience of designing and delivering the whole training lifecycle and be genuinely passionate about providing a fantastic L&D experience and help positively influence the knowledge and behaviours of employees. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of designing high quality learning programmes for senior stakeholders as well as routine and customer service training in a contact centre environment.
You will have excellent design skills to create inspiring learning experience for self-study, the training room and digital solutions as well as providing creative learning solutions that really work for our people. The successful candidate will have experience of digital learning, storyboarding and creative face to face training whilst able to research new and creative L&D trends.
There will be some travel to different sites to build relationships with key stakeholders and possibly deliver f2f training, as well as needing to to visit the Head Office in North Yorkshire.
