Global Payroll System Analyst

£70,000 - £75,000

London (Old Street - hybrid)

A leading financial research, analysis and data corporation headquartered in the US has partnered with us to assist them in search for payroll system transformation professionals to lead on continuous improvement of their recently implemented payroll system. Working at Russell 1000 company you will operate from the London-based office near Old Street under the agile working policy.

As a Global Payroll System Analyst you will lead on identifying gaps and procedural improvements coordinating testing stages while understanding business processes improvement. As a subject matter expert, you will bring previous strong exposure to payroll related systems (Workday, ERP systems, SAP) and help develop new process documentation/ and, or update existing to reflect indicated changes. Partnering with various stakeholders, your leadership will influence future payroll implementation planning activities and bring business value while optimising, standardising, simplifying and continuously improving payroll in business.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support detailed E2E process and blueprints, ensuring these are clearly understood by global stakeholder while validating and designing business processes
  • Identify improvements and bring new process to life across payroll including communication materials, simplification, standardisation plans
  • Develop new documentation or update existing to reflect these changes
  • Understand process dependencies and compliance to ensure risk are clearly tracked and understand by key stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and support teams with a mindset of continuous improvement of future payroll procedures

Candidate Experience

  • Experience coordinating payroll end to end testing and implementing new payroll
  • Strong understanding and proven work during past business process improvement with high quality outputs
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience in process definition and design
  • Confident communication skills and proactive learner comfortable with managing global stakeholders - able to navigate ambiguity, consult and solve problems.
  • Skilled in process mapping tools and MS Office products such as Visio, Excel, Word Asana, Teams Tableau
