The Opportunity

We are working with a very well-known and large unionised organisation in a search for a Change Manager (People and Transformation)

Change Manager 2 positions
1 permanent and a 12-month FTC Maternity Cover
Location - City of London with national travel required
This is a hybrid role 3 days on site ,2 days working from home
Salary £45.000 - £55.000
Car allowance £4,800
27.5 Days Annual Leave, rising to 6 weeks after 10 years' service + Bank Holidays


About the role

As Change Manager you will be aligned to specific projects and programmes, supporting with the planning and delivery of all people related change activity, drawing on HR policies, standards and strategies to ensure consistent application across projects.

As a Change Manager you might find yourself supporting with specific project comms and engagement activities, supporting meetings with partners, resourcing and training deliverables.

Key Activities
Work in conjunction with the project and programme lead, and Change Lead, to ensure people change activity and the people plan is a fully integrated part of the project and programme management
Support the development of the people plan for projects and programmes, drawing on HR Centres of Excellence and other group functions as required
Ensure the project deliverables are consistent with the longer term people strategy, particularly in relation to diversity and culture
Work with key functional and operational stakeholders to effectively manage and integrate the change and engagement strategy within the overall strategic plan

About you
Essential

* Demonstrable experience of delivering significant change programmes
* Experience of working in a multi-site unionised matrix organisation
* Knowledge of UK legislative frameworks and associated people policies/terms

* Experience of people change element
* Understanding of People HR
* Experience in agencies advantageous

Degree qualified or equivalent
CIPD qualified desirable
