HR Manager for civil engineering telecomms organisation in Cambridge, £40-50k + discretionary bonus, hybrid role - 3 days in office, 2 from home

I am proud to be working with my client in the civil engineering industry who are seeking an HR Manager to join their HR team as the organisation goes through a period of growth.
Your new role
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the HR team is providing a top tier service. Key areas of focus will be around recruitment and retention, taking ownership of employee relations, succession planning and talent management, total reward and employee engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will be a strong HR Generalist, experience of developing succession plans and supporting and developing people would be highly advantageous. You will be at least CIPD L5 qualified.
You will ideally come from a construction industry background or similar.
You will be able to engage, inspire and influence people across the organisation, as well as establish credibility quickly and develop strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders.
You will be approachable, organised, structured and methodical, and be able to listen effectively and make rational and decisive judgements.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £40-50k, more for the right candidate, as well as 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, discretionary bonus. There will also be support for attaining a further CIPD qualification.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
