Part time HR Manager

Your new company
Our client is a charitable organisation looking for a part time HR Manager to cover maternity leave until January 2024.

Your new role
As the standalone HR in the business your role will be varied and challenging providing a comprehensive HR service to a small charitable business of 30 employees with duties including:

• Assisting with consultations & other tasks relating to company re-structure in 2023
• Managing complex ER casework
• Supporting managers with advise on HR processes
• Developing HR policy & procedures
• Assisting to implement L&D policy
• Administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes
• On-boarding & new starter management
• Manage talent and succession planning

• Provide reports and insight on HR performance measures.
• Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy.
• Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies.

• Champion the Trust's inclusion, diversity and equality ambitions.

This is a part time role and the organisation are looking for someone to work around 21 hours a week and can be flexible on how you split this across Monday to Friday. The role is initially maternity cover for 9-12 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role our client are looking for a practical, hands-on and pragmatic HR professional who is a proven HR Generalist ideally supported by a CIPD qualification. You will have experience of managing payroll for a small organization and any prior experience assisting within a company restructure & managing consultations would be desired.

This role would be ideal for an experienced HR manager looking to join a small charitable organization with a very supportive and friendly working environment and ability to offer flexible part time hours.
