Oakleaf Partnership Midlands are partnering with a client based in Staffordshire on a full time permanent position. This is a great business to work for, they are looking for a Payroll Manager to lead the function, manage a team and have worked in a business of a minimum of 4,000 employees previously. The Payroll Manager will ensure that the payroll department will run smoothly, have experience of working with various payroll systems and provide pro active and flexible approaches to the senior leadership teams in the firm. This Payroll Manager will cover the UK markets and have experience of managing payrolls of 4,000 or more. This might suit an individual who is looking to make a step into management, who has managed before and wanting a large remit. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, be proactive, be organised and be CIPP Level qualified.
You will be responsible for the payroll execution and a performing payroll team, it would require an individual who has managed a team previously and experience of working collaboratively with the HR teams internally as well as the senior leadership team. It is a brilliant role for a Payroll Manager who has strong knowledge of SSP, SMP and experience of internal controls and operation procedures. The role is pivotal to the business and will be managing monthly payroll of 4,000 employees. The team is a good sized team so it would require an individual who can build performance and capability.
