9 Month Secondment

Your New Role

If you have a passion for writing, a creative flair and a desire to deliver outstanding service, then this is the opportunity for you. In this role, you will be responsible for the proactive management of Bid and Proposal documents alongside key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the creation of new bid content and graphics to ensure our Knowledge Hub is constantly being updated. This role will also support the delivery of transformation projects to ensure continued growth and success of the bidding function. We are looking for an engaging, ambitious and confident individual who is excited by the prospect of joining a successful, high performing team. You will be a self-starter, with proven initiative and the desire to shape this role to maximise its success. You will have the ability to engage with business stakeholders effectively, building productive relationships and demonstrate excellent communication skills to ensure your outputs meet business needs. Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. High literacy and attention to detail is essential to the role and key to your success in building a trusted support function. Good time management skills and comfortable working to and meeting deadlines is essential. You should be able to demonstrate track record of coming up with new ideas and seeing them through to fruition, including the review and improvement of them. Any previous experience in bid writing or recruitment would be beneficial

What you'll need to succeed

Highly organised;

An ability to understand a client's needs and contribute to solution formation;

Good team worker, able to build and maintain positive and open working relationships with colleagues;

Strong communication skills, confident and articulate in all communications and at all levels (i.e. face-to-face, telephone and written);

Excellent attention to detail, maintaining high standards of delivery, quality and accuracy;

Presents, explains and interprets information accurately and clearly;

Able to liaise effectively with Hays departments and clients to define/ clarify requirements and collate relevant data/ information;

Computer literate and familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and others;

Self-motivated to set and prioritise work schedule and manage time effectively. Thinks ahead and pre-empts potential problems with a pro-active approach;

Highly flexible approach to react to changes within the business, quick to identify which tasks are a priority;

Faces all challenges and problems with a sense of responsibility and self-management, following issues through to resolution;
