Head of HR (maternity cover)

Fantastic 12-14 month Head of HR maternity cover contract available within a global financial services business.

Wearing multiple hats this Head of HR role will be responsible for implementing Group HR policies whilst acting as a Business Partner and overseeing the HR administrative function (2x HRBP & 2x HR Admins). You will be a member of the London executive management team and of the HR Leadership team.

• Leading the London based HR team, driving and supporting priorities and workflow to ensure the company hits their business objectives
• Working closely with the Senior Leadership team globally and utilising key data in order to advise them on a commercially focused HR & People Strategy, influencing them on the best course of action
• Acting as a trusted advisor, providing excellent HR Services to management and employees across the employee spectrum including recruitment, talent, performance management, compensation, L&D and ER
• Championing continuous improvement and leading/participating in HR projects regionally and internationally
• Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements

Key requirements:

• Prior experience in a leading HR role, preferably in an international company with a matrix management structure
• Excellent knowledge of Employment Law
• Ability to demonstrate great people management skills with the development mindset
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and cross-geographical teams
• A proven track record in delivering successful HR projects on budget and in time
• Positive and proactive mindset
• Team player - able to foster a collaborative approach

Details:

• 12-14 month contract
• Hybrid working 3 days per week in office
• March/April 2023 start date
• City based
