HR Officer - Rotherham - £27,579 - £30,314 FTE - Temporary 2-3 month placement


Your new role
Are you a HR professional looking for a new opportunity in Rotherham? This is a generalist role that will provide a comprehensive service for all employees and lead on any employee relations matters such as absence management and flexible working requests. You will work within a wider team and have the opportunity to work on a number of projects.

You will be responsible for the recruitment of new staff including pre-starter checks, inductions and managing their training. The administration of the HR system will be another key area of responsibility.

Other areas will include:

• Recruitment and selection process
• Employee relations matters
• Ensure the implementation of HR policies and procedures
• New employee inductions and training management
• Maintaining personnel files and systems
• Liaising with the payroll team and updating any changes

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and have a strong administrative skill set.

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
